Dussehra festival signifies the celebration of good over evil and it is one of the most significant Indian festivals. Dussehra is celebrated on the tenth day of the navaratri which tributes to the victory of lord Rama over the Ravana. Dussehra strengthens the pledge of devotees to follow the path and deeds of Lord Rama.
Dussehra is celebrated by flaming the statue of Ravana, Meghanatha and Kumbhakarna. There is a play of Ramleela which displays the story of Ramayana which comes to an end on this day.
